The hair industry is constantly changing with new styles everyday and products guarantees to strengthen one’s hair so that it will grow long and beautiful. Fox News recently published an article that listed the “Top 10 Foods that Improve your Hair,” from AskMen.com. These food items have essential vitamins and minerals men and women need that can improve the growth of their hair. They are also great for the nails and body and range from iron, zinc, B vitamins (B1, B6, B7, B9, B12), and omega-6 fatty acids. The foods that provide these great vitamins and minerals are prunes, green peas, shrimp, steel-cut oats, kidney beans, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, eggs, and calf liver. Sardines are last on the list and are full of omega-3 fatty acids and vitamin D, both of which have been linked to preventing hair loss in chemotherapy patients. For a great hair- revitalization delight, drop a handful of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, walnuts, almonds, and raisins in a bag. Makes a wonderful trail mix!

We have heard it said by doctors, nutritionist and health experts that “you are what you eat.” The conviction of many mature Believers’ is that the same principles that applies to what you eat also applies to “you are what you think, feel, say, and do.” Those who follow the Word of God believes the scriptures where Apostle Paul said,

Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse. Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies. – Philippians 4:8-9 The Message
